An extension that matches in at the front but stands out at the back.

Extension to Victorian house, S. Belfast

Working within a conservation area dictated a design solution at the front that would replicate the existing brickwork and vertical window patterns. The elevation to the rear has been designed in stark contrast with large areas of aluminium glazing, louvered vents and fold back doors.
