About the Practice

With some forty years experience working as a chartered architect I have had the opportunity to work on many building types from schools, medical centres, churches and other community buildings. Over the course of my career, my particular area of interest is in the design and refurbishment of private houses enjoying the opportunity to work with clients to produce a distinctive new home or helping to bring a new lease of life to an existing property.

From initial consultation, I work closely with clients to refine their brief exploring the potential of the project. It is through this collaborative process that the right environment is created to develop great design solutions which meet clients’ needs.

It is an important part of every project to identify from the outset the various risks and obstacles the building process can present. In fine-tuning these skills, my projects have consistently been executed to the highest construction standards without losing sight of the overall cost.

I am a Certified Passive House Consultant and have won several design awards which have been highlighted amongst the featured projects under the categories of new build homes, refurbishments & extensions, and conservation.
